Doing Well By Doing Good

Founded in 2011 by Silicon Valley tech veterans, Shoparoo has rapidly established itself as one of those rare opportunities to do well by doing good.

We're supported by a great team of employees, advisors and investors who share our passion for solving real-world problems that truly make a difference. If you'd like to join our efforts to do well by doing good, please send your resume to resume@shoparoo.com.

Our Founders

Jared Schrieber

Co-Founder & CEO

As a former teacher (Algebra & P.E.), coach (Football & Track), athletic director and Junior Achievement volunteer, Jared knows first-hand how challenging it can be to maximize the potential of ones' students on a limited budget. As a co-founder of the Pat Tillman Foundation, Jared learned how hard it is to raise money for even the greatest of causes. And finally, as an executive at Retail Solutions, Jared discovered how difficult it can be for consumer goods brands to engage shoppers across retailers. With Shoparoo, Jared is turning each of these challenges into a golden opportunity for everyone involved.

Jared is a recognized expert in the field of retail data analytics after shaping how over 500 consumer goods companies leverage retail point-of-sale data. He is a regular speaker at leading conferences and universities worldwide. And, when he's not out on the road working with clients and promoting Shoparoo, Jared enjoys spending time with his wife and three school-age children.

Jon Brelig

Co-Founder & CTO

Jon is a serial entrepreneur with a focus on developing compelling mobile and web experiences for consumers. Prior to founding Shoparoo, Jon was the founder and CEO of both SkiReport.com and FantasyBook. Jon developed SkiReport.com (acquired by Vail Resorts) to become the world's largest mobile ski destination and the 2nd largest snow sports website. FantasyBook was started in 2007 to bring the first fully-fledged fantasy sports experience to the new Facebook developer platform. FantasyBook was acquired by Citizen Sports where he led their online games which became the basis of Yahoo! Sports' social games after their acquisition of Citizen Sports in 2008.

He also loves to give back to the community by supporting the Glow Foundation in San Francisco, which provides financial education to high school students prior to entering college. When Jon's not wired in, you can probably find him on his bike in the Marin Headlands, on his skis on the slopes of Tahoe, or grabbing an espresso at one of SF's many niche coffee shops.

What a great and easy way to get donations for our children's schools!
